The D’Hanis Elementary School is looking for volunteers to read to the elementary grades, pre-K – 5th on March 7.  Contact Shay Haywood for details or to volunteer, so a list can be provided to the school to assign reading times.

I would like to submit a Thank You note to all the LSC members who helped with the setup and teardown for the Fiddlers Association; also, a big thank you to those who helped in the kitchen. We hope everyone who attended the performances enjoyed the music as much as those who performed for you. The Clubhouse is a great place for music. Hope to see you all again in November, December and January.

      Bette Rodgers, an Original member of the Lone Star Corral family, died on January 15, 2019.  Bette and her husband, James, bought their LSC lot on June 10, 1987.R. I. P., Bette.

She was a member since May 19, 2009. She will be missed.

Ladies’ Lunch Bunch met on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  We drove to Bill & Rosa’s in D’Hanis.  Per their fine reputation, a copious amount of food was served, well prepared and delicious.  Among the twenty-eight ladies who attended, we were happy to welcome a new member as well as a visitor from Canada.  Our next luncheon will be held on February 13, 2019.  We will go to Just Like Home in D’Hanis. A sign-up sheet will be in the Clubhouse in a week or so.
