The color chart for the new LSC T-Shirts is now in the Country Craft Store.  Check out all the great colors and get your order in for your LSC T-Shirts while the color & size selections are numerous.  There’s also a few cute tote bags too!

A special request: the Menu Notebook needs to be updated. As you visit various restaurants, please ask for a menu to take home with you. If you will put it inside the notebook, I will put the new menu in place. Of course, if you find a restaurant that you feel would be a good option for future Ladies’ Lunch Bunch outings, do not hesitate to let me know and again, if you can bring a menu it would be so helpful. The Menu Notebook is on the round table next to the south door in the Clubhouse. Thank you, Diana Stone, Lot #94.

Despite a dismal and very wet morning, 18 ladies carpooled to Camp Verde for lunch on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Unfortunately the restaurant divided our group to sit at two tables too far apart to communicate. Nonetheless, the service was good and the food was  well presented. The sun appeared and the afternoon turned very pleasant.

NEXT MONTH? I have reservations for Wednesday, June 12 at the Castroville Café. Our reservation is for the usual 1:00 pm so we will meet at the Clubhouse at 12:15 pm. Join us for the Annual LSC Birthday Party!  The Lone Star Corral will celebrate its 32nd birthday on May 2, 2019.  We will celebrate with birthday cake and ice cream cups on Friday, May 3rd at 4:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse. Plates will be provided. Ice cream cups will be served so no need to bring a bowl either. We hope to have a good turnout, everyone welcome!

Died on April 12, 2019

“On April 15, 2010, we began our RVing life. Tim loved the lifestyle, especially meeting new people and making new friends. We became members of the Lone Star Corral on February 16, 2015. When we were at the Lone Star Corral, it was like coming home to family. Son, brother, husband, father, uncle, friend, no one did it better. We all miss you.”

The showers in the Clubhouse are open again! They were repaired at minimal cost.

Due to a change in scheduling for the trash management company, dumpsters will now be emptied on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays. This change is effective immediately.  Also a reminder, on or about May 1st, we will go down from six dumpsters to three on the park for the summer.
