The Fiddlers will be playing in the Clubhouse on the 16th of November. The first of
3 shows this winter. Come on out and spend the day listening to some good old Country/Western music brought to you by some fine entertainers. Some are your neighbors from the park. The music starts at 11 am. We stop for lunch at 12 and pick it up again until 3pm. Please bring a covered dish to share at lunch. We’d like to see a good turnout of the SKP members to support these folks.

The Bluebonnet Officers wish to thank all those who came out to honor our veterans. We welcomed friends from the American Legion as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Opening remarks on the history of Veterans Day were made and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Ron Erkert led us in the singing of the National Anthem. Ron then sang for us the Civil War ballad “Lorena”. Edmund Strickler led us in a prayer of thanks and gratitude to our veterans. Edmund also gave a reading from Alden Solovy’s Poem, To Bend Light.
