D’Hanis Elementary School Program

On Thursday December 16 at 9:00 a.m. the D’Hanis Elementary School Children will be here to put on a program.  I’m told that the program this year is not a skit.  Instead, the children will be here to sing and possibly play instruments.  These are the children we provide Christmas for each year, Pre-K through 5th grade.  Please come out and be prepared to be entertained.

Fiddlers!

On December 11th the Fiddlers will be visiting us again so come on out and join in the fun. The Fiddlers love to come to the Park because of the size of the clubhouse and especially the fine welcome they always get from our members.

Again, because of covid restrictions we won’t be able to have the usual potluck meal so bring a brown bag lunch for yourselves.

Hope to see you all on the 11th. The music starts at 11am and runs until about 4pm with a break for lunch.

Veterans Day Remembrance

Lone Star Corral Veterans Day Ceremony was very well attended on November 11th. Over 55 people braved the high wind to attend and honor all our veterans. Thank you George Baker for our opening prayer, Ron and Kay Erkert for their beautiful singing of the National Anthem, Larry Hoppe for making sure everyone got a We Remember sticker and being the timekeeper, and huge thank you to Sarah Baker for making sure coffee and cake was ready for everyone after ceremony.

Nothing happens without volunteers and today was an example of an event happening with wonderful members willing to give their time and talents.

We say again, thank you and WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ALL OUR VETERANS.🇺🇸🇺🇸
