Ladies Lunch Bunch

On September 11, 2019, eleven ladies carpooled to Bandera for lunch at Pap’s Grill. We always enjoy the great food and service there. We really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere.

A sign up sheet with information regarding the destination of Ladies Lunch Bunch for October 9th is now in the Clubhouse.

BLUEBONNETS NEED YOU!!

With a lot of our members returning from their summer travels, it’s time once again to think about upcoming Bluebonnet activities and who’s going to be doing what.  We have also had some very active committee members leave us recently so there are several very important openings on some of our major committees.
 
Please check the Bluebonnet Committee list on the large Bluebonnet bulletin board in the Clubhouse.  If you aren’t on any of the lists there, please consider volunteering a bit of your time this season and have some fun while doing it.  It’s a great way to get to know your fellow members and learn about our vast network of volunteers and what they do.
 
If you ARE on the list for a committee you no longer wish to be involved in, please cross your name off the list so we can keep it current.  Maybe you’ll see a different committee you’d like to sign up for!
 IF WE ALL DO JUST A LITTLE, NO ONE WILL HAVE TO DO A LOT!

LADIES LUNCH BUNCH SEPTEMBER

Reservations have been made for Ladies’ Lunch Bunch at Pap’s Italian Grille, in Bandera.  We will leave the Clubhouse at 12:15 on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.  A sign-up sheet will be placed on the table on Sunday, August 31, 2019.  Remember to invite members who do not usually attend, as well as visitors and guests.  Submitted by Diana Stone, Lot #94

ATTENTION SHOPPERS!

A few of your fellow LSC Members are working on a Bluebonnet Fund Raising project over the next few months and we are in need of cardboard boxes…all sizes. So all you Amazon Prime shoppers…please keep us in mind and save your boxes for us.

ROOT BEER FLOATS

Old Fashioned Root Beer Float

1 scoop of ice cream and can drink $1.00. Extra scoops of ice cream 50 cents each. Please bring your own cup, glass, bowl and spoon.

See you there this Friday and every other Friday
through August unless attendance is too low.

LLB VISITS RAILHEAD CAFÉ

On July 10th, 2019, the Ladies’ Lunch Bunch drove to Lytle and had lunch at the Railhead Café. This establishment has a down home ambiance. Food was delicious with ample servings and pleasantly presented. The owner circulated among her patrons and it was apparent she was on a mission to please. Fourteen ladies joined for a hot but pleasant afternoon.

LADIES LUNCH BUNCH JULY

It is time to be planning for July’s Ladies’ Lunch Bunch get-together. Reservations have been made for Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Railhead Café in Lytle. A menu can be found at www.zmenu.com/railhead-cafe-lytle. I am expecting receipt of a menu in the next few days which I will put on the sign-up sheet which is already in the Clubhouse. This small establishment adds a charge to the bill if you use debit or credit cards. There is limited parking in front of the shopping strip in which the restaurant is located but more parking is located behind the buildings. Directions can be found on the internet.
