MORE UPCOMING EVENTS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS…..

* January 24th rise and shine for another of Patty Barnes’ hearty breakfasts featuring
biscuits & sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, hashbrown patty, OJ and coffee.
* …later that evening The Clay’s, Karn’s, and Marx’s are hosting another campfire
get-together starting at 6:00 pm. Marshmallows and hot drinks provided. Bring
your own chairs and roasting sticks.
* January 31st will be a special event with some of the best chili in Texas made by
our official Chili Master, Ed Yale, consisting of Ed’s famous chili along with a big
selection of toppers, a relish tray, several kinds of cornbread, and dessert. All for
$10.00…
* …and then after the Chili Supper will be a fun game of LSC Feud! And it’s
guaranteed to be a hoot! So come out and enjoy an evening of good food and fun!
* February 8th join your fellow football fans and neighbors for a Super Bowl Party
hosted by Laney & Walt Confer and Neal & Jan Kelsoe. From what hints I’ve
heard….you’ll have a good time for sure! PLUS…there will be food!
* February 13th during Social Hour (4:00 pm) Caring & Sharing Committee will be
having another of their wonderful Bake Sale Fundraisers so bring your sweet tooth
and some cash. They sold out last time so get there early! And believe me, there
are some really good bakers in this group.
* On February 21st a special Lasagna Dinner will be offered consisting of homemade
Lasagna, salad, garlic bread and dessert hosted by our Chief Chef Patty Barnes.
It’s guaranteed to be a delicious meal. Cost will be $12.00.
* …and then following the Lasagna dinner will be one of our best LSC
fundraisers…The Brown Bag Auction. A fun time will be had by all so be sure to
stay after the meal. Hosts for the event are Jan & Neal Kelsoe.
* February 26th is our Annual Membership Meeting. Bluebonnets will be providing
lunch for everyone. Hoagies, chips, and ice tea are on the menu. More may be
added as we get closer to the date. We’ll keep you posted.
* And then on March 7th will be our annual Flea Market which historically has added
lots of cash to our Bluebonnet Treasury. Diane Maruffi will lead the way again
this year.
