Christmas Eve Celebration
Monday, December 24 at 4:00 pm
Join us starting at 4:00 pm on Monday, December 24 at the clubhouse. We encourage you to bring a potluck hors d’oeuvres for our supper. We’ll play Christmas Bingo and have a Dirty Santa gift exchange. A $10.00 gift is suggested for the exchange. Please bring your own table service.
It should be a fun filled evening! Even Santa will be dropping by.
There was a nice turnout at the annual Christmas Program by the D’Hanis Elementary School. The children put on a very entertaining program in our Clubhouse.
Today, a new record was set for attendance to Ladies’ Lunch Bunch. Thirty ladies carpooled to Castroville for lunch at The Alsatian Restaurant (aka The Old Alsatian Steakhouse) on Angelo Street. As a reminder, there is no criteria for joining the group on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The group meets each month during the year and has been meeting for over six years. A sign-up sheet is placed on the sign-up table next to the library in the clubhouse. We invite all members and visitors to join in the fun, camaraderie and good food. As a member, please invite visitors and guests who are recent arrivals at LSC. If you have any questions or suggestions for an eatery, please call Diana Stone.

Hondo Museum Tour

Medina County Museum
Mark December 20 on your calendar for our private tour of the Medina County/Hondo Museum. If you have never been there this is a great opportunity. If it has been awhile you will be impressed as it has had some special rejuvenation.
So we can have a head count, please sign up at the clubhouse.
Ladies’ Lunch Bunch
Wednesday, December 12th at 12:15 pm
The Ladies’ Lunch will be Wednesday, December 12. We’ll meet at the Clubhouse at 12:15 pm and go to Alsatian Restaurant in Castroville.
Please sign up at the Clubhouse so we can have an accurate count. We’ll carpool, so please indicate if you can drive.

Hamburger or Chicken Sandwich Lunch
Thursday, December 13 at 12:00 pm
On Thursday, December 13 at noon we will be serving grilled 1/3 lb Angus burgers or Chicken fillet Sandwiches with all the trimmings. We will also include Calico BBQ beans with bacon and hamburger, chips and homemade cookies for dessert.
Cost is $5.00 and includes tea and coffee. Please bring your own table service.
There is a sign up sheet in the clubhouse for lunch and help preparing, serving and cleanup.

Amber
On Friday, December 7th, the park had a farewell party for long-time member Amber Lawrence. Amber has been an LSC member for almost 30 years! Many of her friends shared memories with the group as they enjoyed cake.
Amber’s smiling face will be greatly missed around the park, especially during game nights at the clubhouse.
Amber is moving to Mexico, Missouri to be closer to family.
