The Lone Star Corral is located in a rural farming/ranching area about 40 miles west of San Antonio on US 90. US 90 follows the route of the UP Railroad, so there are a number of small old towns along the route. Here are a few of the those within an hour’s drive.

D’Hanis -Town of 500, 1 mile west of Co-Op.

Hondo -Town of 9,000, 8 miles east of Co-Op.

Sabinal -Town of 1,700, 13 miles west of the Co-Op.

San Antonio -City of 1.5 million (7th largest in the US), 40 miles east of the Co-Op.

Texas Hill Country -The Co-Op is on the south edge of the area known as the Texas Hill Country.
