Ultimate Backcountry Toad

Whether you want to get to that out-of-the-way scenic overlook or fishin’ hole, or just want to go off-roadin’, This is the Toad for you. This is a 2005 TJ Wrangler Sport. TJ’s are the last true Wranglers before Chrysler started messin’ with ‘em. This ain’t no soccer mom Jeep! It has the bulletproof 4.0L Straight Six, and a six-speed manual transmission. Altho this combo is known to commonly go over 300,000 miles, this rig has just under 78,000. It’s only lived in Southern California and Texas, so there’s no rust. It’s Patriot Blue, with a grey hard top and fenders, (Dallas Cowboys?). It also comes with an additional Rampage Complete Soft Top #68836, also grey. The rear windows, on both the hard top and soft top, have dark tint. The interior is cloth and has no tears or stains. The AC is really cold, and I installed a dual bearing, brushless fan for quiet operation and long life. It has a 2-inch receiver on the back for bike racks, cargo carriers or whatever. Everything works as it should, (we just had our mechanic check it out to be sure,). There have been no modifications done to the engine, transmission, transfer case, or suspension. The rig is functionally stock, so you won’t have somebody’s mods to worry about. It rolls on stock size Yokohama Geolandar H/T G056 Size 30 X 9.50R15 LT 104S tires (DOT 0719) on stock wheels. The only aftermarket items are the soft top, the chrome tube bumpers and steps, the stereo and the items needed to tow it.

For towing it has a Blue Ox Base Plate with safety cables. The integrated tail light connector is a four-pin. There is a Demco InvisiBrake 8700 Supplemental Braking System Installed and functional. The controller is under the rear seat so it won’t get wet if you drive through water. I’m throwing in a new-in box Roadmaster 98850 Motorhome Brake Monitor /Audio kit that I bought but never installed on our MH.

This is a beautiful go-anywhere plug-and-play toad with a lot of extras.
