The children from D’Hanis Elementary School will be at the CO-OP on the 12th of December at 8 a.m. to perform their annual Christmas Program. While this is an early morning activity, it is very rewarding, please come and enjoy the energetic and enthusiastic performance of the 137 children, Pre-K through 5th grade.as they sing in the holiday season. Following the program, the annual cookie bake to provide goodies for delivery to the children on the 17th will commence. A sign up sheet for helper elves to get this job accomplished is on the sign up table near the kitchen. Cookie baking elves get to sample the product and usually get to take some home as well.
Teacher’s Wish Tree has been set up in the clubhouse on the table in front of the projection screen. If you are willing to participate, take a tag (or a couple of tags) and purchase the item on the tag. Place the item with tag attached (I’ve provided tape under the tree to accomplish this task) and place the item in one of the bags under the table. The items on the tags are what the individual teachers have asked for to make their school year a little easier.
Donation Jar for Christmas in D’Hanis has been placed in the office. Everything we provide is done by donation provided by the membership. of time money and participation. A sample of what is provided to each grade is displayed on the table with the Teacher’s Tree.
Delivery to the school is at 7:45 on the 17th. Please sign up for this very rewarding job. You can do that by picking the class you want and writing your name on the sheet on the Teacher’s Tree table.
