K9 Corral at The Alamo Area SKP Co-op    

In 2007 a few of the members recommended that The Lone Star Corral build a dog park for this Co-op. The Board of Directors reviewed and approved the construction. One member (Bonnie Mason), taking the project seriously, spent many hours designing and researching for material.

This year, as the members returned from their summer travels, a small group pulled together and formed a DOG PARK committee. The dog park committee met in mid October and began to plan how this project would move forward.  By Mid November the park was complete and the park member pups were happy campers. This dog park will also welcome our guest and their pets.  As travelers ourselves, we know how important it is for our pets to get their exercise, and welcome the opportunity to stay in a park that is pet friendly.
