The Texas Hill Country is the center and heart of Texas and probably the prettiest overall region of the entire state. From small towns to large, each has something special. If you have a favorite place you would like to share, send it to the webmaster. Here are a few places the webmaster has visited and enjoyed:
Bandera 11th Street Cowboy Bar where on Wednesday nights you bring your own steak, grill in on their grill and enjoy the music. Beverages and side dishes available for a small fee.
Lone Star Motorcycle Museum where you will find old Indians, Harleys, BSAs, Triumphs and others. Also a small cafe with some great Aussie meat pies.
Frontier Times Museum in Bandera (located at 510 13th Street) Sorry, no link here but worth the visit!
Lukenbach - jam sessions, weddings, you name it, it's here
Fredericksburg - German Texan heritage. Home of the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum - Vereins Kirche
